Eid Al-Adha - Town Hall Lighting
Eid Al-Adha l Illuminating Fellowship Square l Waltham Forest Town Hall l WFCOM
London Borough of Waltham Forest in collaboration with Waltham Forest Council Of Mosques (WFCOM) had a historic first community event at the new civic space, Fellowship Square, to witness the Town Hall be lit up in green to mark Eid-Al-Adha!
This has been an extremely challenging year for all of us, but it has been incredible to see our community come together to keep each other safe. WFCOM have been at the forefront of this, and have supported the borough in so many ways.
As a sign of appreciation, LBWF were delighted to mark Eid for the amazing contribution of Muslim residents throughout Waltham Forest.
The Town Hall was illuminated in green during the evenings of 20th and 21st July from dusk.
