Marriage (nikah) is a sacred social contract between bride and groom as well as an occasion of joy for the community. A marriage solemnisation service can be provided where the Nikah is performed by the Masjid Imam either at the Masjid, the wedding hall or at home. An official ‘Nikah’ certificate (approved by the Registry Office) is provided at the conclusion of the service.

Religious Advice & Counselling
Imams can offer advice and counsel on many issues of concern to the muslim community, from bereavement and matrimonial problems to cultural and generational issues.

A service for new born children is provided by the Masjid, where parents may bring their new born child to the Masjid for recitation of the Adhan and Iq'maat into the child’s ear. In addition, the Imam will provide a full explanation of the practise of Aqiqah.

A Janazah service can be provided in full accordance with Shariah Law. The funeral services can include Ghusal (washing), Kafan (wrapping), Salat al-Janazah (prayer) and transportation of the deceased from the Masjid to the place of burial. An overnight storage facility is available on request.
